DISCHER as a medium-sized, family run company has intensified its customer relations since the beginning more than 30 years ago. This means the company can respond methodically to customer’s individual requirements.
In addition to the founder, Josef Discher, who is assisted in commercial matters by his wife Rosemarie; their son Olaf with his wife Margarita are increasingly managing the future of DISCHER Technik. Shortly after joining the company he undertook extensive restructuring and put an integrated management system in place. This increased DISCHER productivity and ensured effective and working quality assurance for maximum product reliability. These measures frequently go beyond the technical norms.
Recognition of this comprehensive concept of customer orientation and the high standard of DISCHER products came in the form of the Quality Prize for North Rhine-Westphalia and other awards. In 2001, DISCHER Technik was one of the first companies in Germany to be certified according to the valid quality standard DIN EN ISO 9001:2000.
The company’s success is not only demonstrated by the nation-wide distribution of DISCHER products but also by expansion beyond the European market, as far as Mexico and other Caribbean countries, Eastern Europe and the Far East.
